How long can I keep a roll-off dumpster?
The standard rental period runs 7 days, which covers most weekend projects and short remodels. However, we are fully equipped to rent the dumpsters for the full duration of your project. If the work stretches longer, tell us before pickup day and we will extend the container without moving it.
Do I need a permit to place a dumpster?
Placement on your own driveway or private lot almost never requires a permit. If the only workable spot sits on a public street or sidewalk, check with the local municipality first, since rules differ by jurisdiction.
What items cannot go in a dumpster or on the truck?
Hazardous waste such as chemicals, paint, oil, and pesticides stays out, along with medical waste, propane tanks and other pressurized containers, flammable or explosive material, and certain automotive parts like tires.
What is the difference between a front-load and a rear-load dumpster?
Front-load containers are lifted by forks at the front of the truck and suit open lots with steady volume. Rear-load containers are smaller and load from behind, which works better in alleys and cramped drives.
How full can I fill a dumpster?
Load level with the top rail and no higher. Anything mounded above the rim cannot be tarped safely for transport, which is why overloaded containers get refused or reworked before they ever leave the property.
